The agritourism \u201cVecchio Gelso\u201d, is located in Ortezzano (Fermo province), this is a family run business. Each member of the Lilla family has more than one task, in order to provide the most comfortable and efficient agritouristic service to its guests.
\nThe name \u201cVecchio Gelso\u201d, the Italian for Old Mulberry<\/strong>, comes from a 250 year old Mulberry tree which grows in the middle of our agritourism and which eventually has become the symbol and the emblem of our business.
\nThe company boasts a number of hospitality awards; in 2007 it was awarded the \u201cPalma d\u2019oro\u201d, an Italian hospitality prize<\/strong>, assigned by the Chamber of Commerce in Napoli. Another prize, named \u201cTypical Marche Region Restaurants and hospitality\u201d was awarded to them, after having been carefully selected out of 440 agritourisms throughout Italy by the National Touristic Research Institute.
\nThe \u201cVecchio Gelso\u201d boasts an excellent reputation, this being expanded on internet websites, where we received the 2014 Trip Advisor Excellence Certificate<\/strong> scoring 4.5 out of 5 points. In 2015 we received the same results through Booking.com and Agriturismo, scoring 9.0\/10 and 4.5\/5 respectively.<\/p>\n

The company \u201cVecchio Gelso\u201d offers several amenities and locations<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

• We are able to host our guests within 14 bedrooms<\/strong> and two separate apartments, each room furnished with the comforts one would need. The rooms are situated within one building and there are also an additional building which holds two separate apartments. The buildings are surrounded by a flowered gardens; the calming influence of nature, bringing you both pleasing visual stimulation and helping you to enjoy the natural environment.<\/li>\n
• The Restaurant is characterised by two rustic style banqueting rooms<\/strong>. The dishes are made from using local ingredients, we also have menus available for Gluten free, Vegetarian or Vegan diets. Our guests can also enjoy our games room, where they can play billiards, watch TV or have a leisurely time after your meal.<\/li>\n
• Our guests can visit our farm and pet animals, such as, horses, goats, sheep, lambs, geese, ducks, chickens, donkeys, rabbits, turkeys, dogs and calfs. Our farm aims to help people that have none, to little experience of rural country life, here you can enjoy the experience of being in close contact with our animals. This experience is vital in educating children, enabling them to have an insight of how rural country life is like.<\/li>\n
• There is an indoor<\/strong> heated swimming pool<\/strong> from March to November. The swimming pool is from 1.10 to 1.60 meters deep and 84 square meters wide. Outside guests can find a relaxing area with sun-beds and sun umbrellas, displayed on the side of a hill, where our guests can enjoy the stunning view of the Fermo hilly countryside that surrounds them.<\/li>\n
• The gardens<\/strong> and gazebos<\/strong> can be used for any kind of event; such as weddings, birthday or most kind of celebrations. There is a wood burning oven, available to bake cakes, pizza and home made bread, which can be baked using our local flour. Also available in the same area is an amusement park for children of all ages.<\/li>\n
• In the centre of the green area around our property, you will see a lovely pond, this area would be an ideal photographic setting to take your memorable photos, after a special occasion, such as a wedding celebration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
